Harry Potter Giveaway

I'm pleased to announce my latest giveaway! My son has read all of the Harry Potter books and loves all of them. He read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2nd grade!

It’s been over 10 years since author JK Rowling first introduced us to the magic of Harry Potter and to a world of wizards, witchcraft; and fantastic creatures. In celebration of a decade of wizardly fun we have access to two very exclusive items that any Harry Potter fan, young or old would love to win! Ten lucky winners will receive a prize pack which includes a special collectible pin for the 10th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone as well as a brand new – yet to be debuted – exclusive Harry Potter poster print featuring Harry Potter illustrator Mary Grandpré’s stunning artwork from all 7 Harry Potter covers!

Ten (10) Lucky Winners Will Receive:

* Copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Book
* Commemorative Pin
* 18x24 Poster Print featuring combined artwork from all 7 book jackets!

You're probably wondering how you can win! It's very simple - just leave a comment telling me what your favorite Harry Potter book is (or your child's favorite!). The contest ends at 5:00pm on Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day). Winners will be drawn from Random. org and will receive their prize package shortly after the contest ends.

I always find this the hardest question because I love them all.
If I must narrow it down it's Sorcerers Stone, because he's so young and naive.

Hubby and I own all of them in hardback. We have both read them several times. I cannot choose one over the other as they are all equally good.

However, my 11yo niece wants to start reading the books and this would be perfect for her.

I'll have to say "Chamber of Secrets"...I love how all kinds of fantasy elements and creatures are combined in the book, and given a unique Harry Potter twist.

Definitely tough... I'd have to say either Sorcerer's Stone or Order of the Phoenix. SS is just awesome because it's the original. I cried like a baby at the end of OotP... I just sat in my bed sobbing over the fact that right after finding his totally cool godfather, Harry had to go back to his horrible aunt and uncle. I'm a bit of a sap with books though lol

My favorite was probably the Half-Blood Prince but I didn't love that she made it a cliffhanger and I had to wait years for book seven. Second favorite, Goblet of fire.
I love Harry Potter. I miss the anticipation of a new story coming out.

My favorite is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! My fiance's favorite is Deathly Hallows, but while I liked seeing the conclusion, I felt some of the characters were a bit off - we didn't see the character progression, not that the changes weren't possible. That's probably just me though.

I would be ecstatic to win this, I'm such a Harry Potter Fan! I even have the collector's edition books in a Hogwarts trunk (I will never read these, they're going to be pristine)! I would love to see this poster as well!

I've recently addicted my roommate to Harry Potter - she's gone through the first 3 books in a week. I'd love to give her her own copy!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows rocked my world, even though it marked the end of a great series.

We love all of them! My son has read every HP book so many times that Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets are literally falling apart!

We love the films as well, I think Daniel Radcliffe is going to have such an amazing career ahead of him....wow.

I was in 5th grade when the Harry Potter books first came out and I still remember the amazement I felt at seeing kids who were otherwise quite adamant in their hatred of books cradling their copies of Sorceror's Stone like they were holding something sacred. It was surreal in the best possible way.

My favorite of the series would have to be the Prizoner of Azkaban. It manages to be complex and engaging while retaining its narrative tightness, a balance that many of the later books never quite seemed to pull off. But the Sorcerer's Stone was the first book (of many) that I read aloud to my kid siblings, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

Great giveaway, and thanks for the chance!
